TUITION & DRESS CODE
The Dance Project of Gaines County offers a variety of dance classes such as Jazz, HipHop, and Lyrical/Contemporary for children in grades K through 12. Our passion is to make dance accessible to all families in the community, and we strive to provide a supportive environment for children to learn and grow through dance. All classes include warm up, conditioning, technique and choreography. The following are the MONTHLY tutition prices. Please be aware, all tuition is due between the 1st and 5th of the month. A $10 late fee will be added to your account if it is late. To ensure your payment is processed on time, there will be an autodraft option available upon registration. We will also accept cash, check, credit card and venmo/cashapp for payment as well. FIRST CLASS:
$50 per month
Our jazz and lyrical/contemporary dance classes focus on developing strength, flexibility, and coordination. Students will learn a variety of jazz and ballet techniques and styles with some basic acro skills, while building confidence as well as emotional and self-expression through movement.

EACH ADDITIONAL CLASS:
add $25/ea per month
Our hip hop classes focus on rhythm, musicality, and coordination, while encouraging self-expression and creativity. Students will learn various hip hop styles and techniques, with some basic acro skills in a high-energy, fun and supportive atmosphere.

COMMUNITY PROGRAM:
Receive $10 off regular tuition and $5 off each additional class with required qualification

We believe that every child should have the opportunity to experience the joy of dance. Through our sponsorship, grant and fundraising abilities, scholarships will eventually be awarded annually to chosen applicants. We are committed to ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder a child's passion for dance. DRESS CODE:

THE FOLLOWING ATTIRE FOR EACH CLASS IS LISTED BELOW. IT IS IMPORTANT YOUR CHILD COME TO CLASS PREPARED AND IN THE CORRECT ATTIRE TO ENSURE SAFETY AND PROPER INSTRUCTION. NO JEWELRY IS TO BE WORN DURING CLASS UNLESS SMALL STUDS, PERMANENT JEWELRY OR MEDICAL ID. NO STREET SHOES ON THE DANCE/TRAINING FLOORS. DANCE SHOES SHOULD ONLY BE WORN IN STUDIO, NOT OUTSIDE. NO CELL PHONES ALLOWED DURING CLASS.
JAZZ: Form fitting clothing like leggings, jazz pants, leotards, tank tops, and fitted tees. Jazz shoes in black or tan are required.
LYRICAL/CONTEMPORARY: Form fitted clothing, like ballet tights, leotards, ballet skirts, and leggings, cheer/dance shorts. Ballet or lyrical shoes, dance socks, or half-soled shoes(turners) should be worn but students may also go barefoot.
HIP-HOP: Loose fitted clothing. Sweat pants, joggers, big tees, tanks, anything easy to move in. Sneakers or Dance sneakers required. SHOES MUST ONLY BE WORN IN STUDIO, no street shoes allowed on the dance/training floors.
DISCOUNTED ATTIRE and PERFORMANCE WEAR COMING SOON: Our goal here at The Dance Project of Gaines County is to raise enough funds annually through grants, sponsorships, donors and fundraising to provide the clothing needed for classes and performances at either a discounted rate or no-cost at all(with Board Approval). Please be patient with us as we are in our opening year and working VERY hard to relieve as much financial stress as possible while still keeping our doors open.
